Support for Families in the Algarve responds to the needs of local families and individuals struggling to buy every day household objects and furniture, items that we take for granted. We make appeals to residents and visitors, willing to help us source white goods, electrical items, bicycles, furniture, children’s clothes and shoes, as well as items new Mothers and babies need. Through fund raising we pay for emergency dental treatment and spectacles for children and provide Christmas presents for children and food parcels when we can. We also work closely with the annual Back to School campaign, distributing free back-packs and school equipment.
