Hello members & friends

HERE is my September Newsletter… Graeme and I head off on holiday on Tuesday for two weeks (can’t wait!!)… and during that time I will not be responding to emails. Please have patience, do not chase me for an answer.  I will reply when I return at the endo f September. This is our long awaited break and we are both looking forward to it… bearing in mind our last planned trip to Madeira in June got cancelled because of bad weather. 
The Wine Tasting & Dinner at Octant Vila Monte is currently fully booked… the restaurant capacity is for 100 people and all the places have now been taken.  I will be asking for payment when I return from holiday… so hang onto your money for now.  I do have a waiting list as I often receive cancellations.
I now have the  menu for our Christmas Dinner Dance – I hope you like it… 105 bookings have already been taken.  I am happy for friends and family to be invited as it’s the time of year to celebrate and be together… I can take a lot more bookings as the capacity of the room is “flexible” because of moving walls!
Take time to ready the Member-2-Member section on pages 4 & 5 to see what’s going on in our local community… Goldra Dog Sanctuary  has a Charity Golf Day in November; plus one of our afpop EA members Tina… has a fabulous ArtWork project … you will also be able to see some of her work at our Wine Tasting & Dinner at Octant Vila Monte in November  – more information will be sent out nearer the time.
